A mix of values-based activities and resources for 10 to 14 year olds.

Get Set for the Spirit of Sport is an anti-doping education programme in partnership with the British Olympic Association (BOA) and British Paralympic Association (BPA). The programme encourages 10 to 14 year olds to develop a core set of sporting values, enabling them to make the right decisions on and off the field of play.

This free resource is centred around the Olympic and Paralympic values which, support the aims and objectives of the 2015 World Anti-Doping Code and UKAD’s 100% me anti-doping education programme.

Get Set for the Spirit of Sport encourages young people to examine the decisions they make and the values that underpin them, and provides an opportunity for young people to practice this and form a robust set of core sporting values.

The resource contains a mixture of open-ended, differentiated and exciting classroom based activities. Supported with practical activity ideas for three different age groups of young people aged between 10 and 14. Each age category contains a series of six lessons, with extra activity sheets for those who cannot take part in physical activity.
