Updates on membership of the UK Anti-Doping Board
Following on from the recent appointment of Simon Lewis as the Chair of UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), in post from August 2025 on a four-year term, UKAD announces four further changes to the Board.
Current UKAD Board members Suman Ziaullah and Mark Foster, who first joined the Board in 2021, have been reappointed for a further four years.
Suman Ziaullah is a senior financial services regulator and subject matter expert on the use of data analytics to identify and investigate misconduct. Suman has over 20 years’ experience working across public sector bodies, including in senior roles at the Financial Conduct Authority, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and HM Treasury.
Mark Foster is the Chief Commercial Officer at England Netball. Mark was also the former Chief Commercial Officer at the Rugby Football League in the UK and has had a successful career within the elite sport sector. He has specialist skills in commercial partnerships, marketing, communications, broadcast and digital leadership.
In addition, Jane Rumble, UKAD’s Chief Executive, and Angelina Bassford, UKAD’s Director of Finance and Business Services, have joined the Board in an Ex Officio capacity (a member by virtue of holding another office).
Jane has been UKAD’s Chief Executive since 2022. Prior to joining UKAD Jane spent 12 years at Ofcom, the UK’s Communication Regulator, where she held various Director positions including consumer policy, market intelligence, and organisational change.
Angelina joined UKAD in 2022 having previously been involved in managing the finance function of several organisations and has held Board member positions in the past.
