Dr Frances Akor, UKAD Board member, awarded MBE for services to sport in New Year Honours List 2026
UKAD is delighted to see Dr Frances Akor awarded an MBE for services to sport in the New Year Honours List 2026. The award has been given in recognition of her role on the UKAD Board.
Frances has been a tireless advocate for clean sport and fair play, and as part of our Board offers expert insight and advice through her role as a consultant pharmacist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Among her many accomplishments Frances was a member of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Pharmacy Clinical Services Group.
In her work with UKAD, Frances is also Chair of the Innovation Commission helping to ensure our work is world-leading and underpinned by evidence, research and data analytics.
