UK Anti-Doping invites public to attend open Board meeting
UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) will be holding an open Board meeting in July and would like to extend the invitation to members of the public and media.
The UKAD Board, chaired by Trevor Pearce CBE QPM, will hold its next meeting in London on 30 July 2019. In a first for the organisation, the meeting will, in part, be held in open session at King's College London. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe, subject to available space and prior registration.
The meeting's agenda includes a wide range of topics spanning UKAD's remit, including a report from the UKAD Athlete Commission, presented by the Commission's Chair and UKAD Board member Sarah Winckless MBE, as well a debrief of UKAD's annual week-long campaign Clean Sport Week, which took place in May, and discussions on successful partnerships as part of UKAD's intelligence and investigations operations. The full agenda can be found below.
In an attempt to further improve the transparency of UKAD’s operations, the meeting presents an opportunity to engage with stakeholders and improve visibility of the Boards' activity.
To register for the event, please email email@example.com. Registration for the event will open on Monday 17 June 2019 and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Due to security measures in place at the venue, attendance without prior registration is not permissible.
