Clean Sport Forum 2019, hosted by UK Anti-Doping, is your opportunity to gain the latest insight on anti-doping within sport in the UK, network with likeminded individuals from a range of bodies and organisations and share best practice.
This year, our jam-packed agenda will highlight various issues linked with integrity via our headline speakers, and give you the chance to hear invigorating debates and ask challenging questions through our panel sessions.
The conference will begin with a welcome from Trevor Pearce CBE QPM, UKAD Chair, and a summary of Anti-Doping over the last year.
Other sessions will include:
- Integrity Across the Sport Landscape
Overview of integrity issues across the sport landscape, both domestically and internationally. This session will also provide an overview of UKAD’s newly commissioned research project with Swansea University.
- UKAD in Russia
This will be the first chance to hear about UKAD's work in Russia first-hand, following the release of our report in September.
- Tackling Integrity Issues in Sport
Lorraine Pearman from the Gambling Commission presents a session on how her organisation addresses betting integrity within the sporting environment.
- TUEs and the Role they Play in Protecting Integrity
- Panel: The athlete voice and the role of athletes in anti-doping and upholding integrity
The last 12 months has seen unprecedented activity in athlete activism. From reaction to global governance concerns, to break-away athlete federations.
- Panel: Anti-doping and integrity issues at major sporting events
This panel session will hear from senior staff and leaders, about their first-hand experiences of integrity and anti-doping issues
