Andy Parkinson is the first Chief Executive of UKAD and was appointed to the position in August 2009. Andy has been involved in sport for over 15 years. He headed up the anti-doping operation at UK Sport as Director of Drug-Free Sport and prior to this held the position of Head of Operations. Before joining UK Sport in 2006, Andy was Medical and Scientific Director at the International Paralympic Committee.
Andy has also represented the UK within the international anti-doping community. He was a member of the WADA International Standard for Testing Working Group in 2008 and has played an active role in WADA’s Independent Observer Programme, including attending the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games as a member, the 2010 Tour de France as Co-Chair, and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games as Chair. In May 2014, Andy was re-elected as Chair of the Ad hoc European Committee for the World Anti-Doping Agency (CAHAMA).
Graham is responsible for managing both analytical and non-analytical results, consistent with the World Anti-Doping Code and UK National Anti-Doping Policy, and overseeing the legal and results management sides of the organisation.
Graham brings a wealth of experience in anti-doping and has acted as an Advisor to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) for a number of years. He also has considerable experience working with Government and law enforcement agencies on counterfeiting and piracy matters. In May 2014, Graham was elected Chair of the Advisory Group on Legal Issues for the Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention (T-DO) of the Council of Europe.
Philip is responsible for managing the delivery of business services and leading on the development of commercial service opportunities. Previously, Philip has worked in the third sector to enhance the business and financial capabilities of two leading charities. He is also a school governor. As a keen follower of football, rugby union and cricket, Philip is passionate about contributing towards a culture of clean sport
Nicola is responsible for leading the management and development of UKAD's communications, education and partner engagement strategies which are integral to the prevention of inadvertent and deliberate doping in the UK.
She has extensive communications and marketing experience gained over several year as a Director within both the public and private education sectors. Nicola is also a Non Executive Director of British Shooting.
Nicole is responsible for the delivery of UKAD’s testing programme, intelligence and investigations function, and science portfolio.
Nicole has worked in anti-doping since 1998, as Assistant to the Director and Legal Advisor at the Drug Control Centre at King’s College, and in various roles at UK Sport, where she progressed to Head of Operations before joining UKAD in 2009.
