Whereabouts for suspended athletes

Rowers

Athletes who have been suspended from their sport remain subject to Testing by UK Anti-Doping. This is termed Reinstatement Testing.

UK Anti-Doping rules (article 10.11) state:

In order to be eligible for reinstatement at the end of any period of ineligibility, an athlete must, during any period of Provisional Suspension and/or Ineligibility, (a) make him/herself available for out-of-competition testing by the NADO, the International Federation and any other Anti-Doping Organisation having jurisdiction to test him/her; and (b) if requested provide current and accurate whereabouts information for this purpose.

This means that in order to be considered re-eligible to compete at the end of a sanction, athletes must, if requested, submit current and accurate whereabouts information for the purposes of Reinstatement Testing.

If you are an athlete who has received a request to provide whereabouts information from UK Anti-Doping for the purposes of reinstatement testing, you should download and complete the Reinstatment Testing form and return it as a matter of priority to athlete@ukad.org.uk

If you have any questions or are unsure how to complete the form, please e-mail athlete@ukad.org.uk.
