Athletes on the NRTP provide details of their whereabouts

An athlete may be nominated by UK Anti-Doping or their National Governing Body (NGB) to be in the National Registered Testing Pool (NRTP).

This means that they will be asked to provide up-to-date  information about their whereabouts to ensure they can be tested at any time and anywhere with no advance notice.

NRTP athletes will receive an induction onto an online the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System, known as ADAMS. This is a secure website to which athletes submit their whereabouts. This information includes:

  • a complete mailing address
  • details of any disability
  • for every day, one specific 60-minute slot between 06:00am and 11:00pm at a specific location where - the athlete will be available for testing
  • the full address of a daily (overnight) residence for each day
  • full details of any regular activity
  • full details of any competition that they may take part in.

It is the responsibility of the athlete to ensure that the information supplied is kept up-to-date and accurate at all times.
