UK Anti-Doping Child Protection Policy
UK Anti-Doping has a duty of care to safeguard from harm all children involved in doping control. All children have a right to protection, and the needs of all children must be taken into account.
The aim of the policy is to establish a framework which will:
- Provide children with the appropriate supervision and protection throughout the testing process.
- Clearly state the requirements and processes of the doping control staff through the procedures, to allow doping control staff to make informed and confident responses to child protection issues.
- Ensure that children, parents, carers and other Athlete Support Personnel are well informed about child protection issues and have confidence in the testing process.
