Over the past 12 months UK Anti-Doping has been reviewing its education programme to develop a prevention strategy for doping in sport.
This work cumulated in an Education Forum on 6 July 2011. This consultation event invited delegates from a wide range of National Governing Bodies of Sport and funding agencies in the UK. The Forum introduced elements of a new prevention approach by UK Anti-Doping and offered the opportunity to discuss and debate the development of doping prevention strategies and programmes.
UK Anti-Doping is now working on a wider doping prevention strategy for sport in the UK. We will keep you updated and seek your advice on our progress. Our aim is to develop a framework for doping prevention, one in which anyone involved in sport can contribute to, and share what they are doing in support of our shared clean sport agenda.
