An athlete may be included in the National Registered Testing Pool (NRTP) due to inclusion in a particular team. If this is the case the athlete will be notified by their NGB or UK Anti-Doping and will be subject to the same regulations as other athletes.
Both individual athletes and those forming part of a team may choose to delegate the task of submitting some, or all of their Whereabouts Filings to their coach, club or NGB. The team may upload information about individuals Whereabouts when they are with the team and also when not participating in group activities, for example in and out of season. However, athletes must be aware that the concept of strict liability means they are ultimately responsible for making accurate and complete Whereabouts Filings.
