A key part of UK Anti-Doping’s remit as the National Anti-Doping Organisation for the UK is to ensure athletes and athlete support personnel are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities with regards to anti-doping.
At the heart of the education agenda is the 100% ME programme which seeks to create a generation of sports people who understand the value of competing drug-free.
Through an array of programmes and initiatives, the education team delivers, informs and promotes the principles of doping-free sport. From supporting teams heading to a major games such as the Olympics through to helping athletes submit and manage their Whereabouts information, the 100% ME programme offers targeted support and guidance. To achieve this it works with a range of stakeholders including National Governing Bodies of sport, the British Olympic Association, the British Paralympic Association, the Youth Sport Trust and SkillsActive.
