Athletes who have been nominated by UK Anti-Doping or their National Governing Body (NGB) for inclusion in the National Registered Testing Pool (NRTP), will be asked to provide up-to-date athlete Whereabouts Filings to ensure they can be tested at any time and anywhere at no advance notice.
Athletes must provide the following information
- One hour slot every day
- Address of daily residence
- Regular activities (training, work etc)
- Competition schedule
For the full details on the whereabouts requirements please see here
Top tips for athletes
- Keep the one hour slot and location consistent
- Programme a phone alarm to go off 30 minutes before the start of the one hour slot
- Athletes should save the whereabouts numbers into their phone
- Ask close friends and family to save the numbers as a back up
- Carry the ADAMS keyring
- Enlist the help of friends and family for reminders and prompts
- Print out a copy of the calendar from ADAMS; keep a copy in a kit bag, on a fridge and give a copy to all coaches
- Talk to UK Anti-Doping – we’re here to help
- Submit whereabouts ahead of the deadline. This gives the NGB and UK Anti-Doping the opportunity to identify any problems and provide support
- Make sure correct email and phone numbers are saved in ADAMS so email and sms reminders can be sent.
