Your voice
UK Anti-Doping’s Athlete Committee provides advice on all anti-doping matters. Olympic, Paralympic and professional sports are all represented on the Committee, which has responsibility for working with other athlete-centred groups to ensure the wider views of the athlete community are represented. It also engages with athletes to collect feedback on UK Anti-Doping programmes.
Athlete Committee
The Committee is chaired by John Brewer, UK Anti-Doping Board member and British Handball Chair. Members of the Athlete Committee have been appointed for their experience of and commitment to anti-doping, as well as their understanding of the national and international sporting environment. You can find out more about the members and the committee in What we do.
National Governing Bodies prevention programmes
All sporting bodies are working to develop and implement prevention programmes within their sports. There are lots of ways you can help – you could become a 100% me ambassador for clean sport, inspiring the next generation of athletes to be and stay clean.
Why don’t you become an Educator helping to inform and educate those in your sport on the risks of doping and how to protect themselves? Your experiences will be of great value to those new to elite sport.
UK Anti-Doping
We are always keen to have quotes, stories and case studies from athletes to help us in our education programmes. Please contact the education team if you think you can help support the movement towards clean sport.
